SangreNU is owned by Shi. The domain name was purchased, registered and activated on 30 June 2009. The first version of this site was officially launched on the same day.

Sangre is a Spanish word, which most commonly stands for "blood" or "life-blood".

I chose this name not only because it is dark and exotic, but also because of the purpose of this domain. That is, this site would serve as the "life-blood" of all the domains and subdomains I am managing.

The domain name extension, .nu, is also fairly exotic among TLDs and was likewise very alluring to yours truly. For more information on this TLD, visit NuNames.nu.

This domain contains my webpages that cover an extensive array of subjects. The front page also houses a weblog that contains updates and changes made throughout the collective. My sites have been traveling the World Wide Web for some time in the past (since 2001 and thereafter) and were previously hosted by various personal domains and free webspace providers.
